Salt Cod masterclass

In this class we’ll talk through the process of salting cod and even salt some cod ourselves. We’ll go through the know-how of desalting. Then on to preparing some great dishes, exploring the wide range of uses for this amazing product as we do so.

We’ll make 2 salads including the much loved Garraf coast Salad, Xato. Then Brandade, the ultimate dip.

Our main dishes will include incorporating salt cod into a cocido and the classic Jamaican dish, Salt Cod & Ackee.
